CANON: Fate/Grand Order
CANON HISTORY: Their page on the Type-Moon wiki does a very good job of outlining their role in the various Singularity chapters of the story where d'Eon appeared as a character not summoned by the Protagonist as a Servant proper, but rather as an outside force not necessarily aligned with Chaldea either. Actual knowledge and participation in canon events AS a member of the Master's roster of Servants will depend largely on whether or not any protagonist apps in the future and how they would prefer to handle it; being strangers, or being allies. Basic familiarity with with protagonist and main characters (such as Da Vinci, Dr. Romani, Fou, and Mash) as well will depend on this but for the purposes of memory regains they are free game in a broad sense.
For further inspiration, events that influenced their portrayal in the game will be taken from real-life accounts and historical anecdotes. As there is only so much research I have done and I would not want to conflict with any future information presented in the game as the game universe's "true" interpretation of history, I won't be taking that too far.
Essentially I do not want to entirely weebify d'Eon but if F/GO does so first then, such as with future story or event content, then it's fair game. The usual cooldown for new material release re: spoilers will still apply, of course.

CHARACTER: AU SECTION
AU NAME: Lea Beaumont
AU AGE: 27
PHYSICAL DIFFERENCES: Lea appears in much the same way as d'Eon's canon appearance, with long, straight blonde hair, a fair complexion, and blue eyes. Their body is physically male save for a slight swell to their chest that is independent of any other proportionately appropriate weight gain. Lea's facial features are angular with soft edges when unaided by lighting, clothing, or makeup. Their feet are small, their fingers are long and thin, their hips are wide and round but then so too are their shoulders.

AU HISTORY:
Lea was born in Paris, to an unwed couple consisting of a French historian and an American military pilot. Lea's mother fell ill soon after childbirth and perished well before Lea's first words were ever spoken. Promises made by the pilot to stay with the family as long as possible could not be kept due to the obligations of his career, and it seemed he had never made any effort to reach back out with support soon after either. This left Lea in the care of the closest aunt and uncle to the family, and soon they all moved abroad to London.
This new life was spent residing in a well-to-do neighborhood, playing with children typically older and wiser than Lea who hailed from equally well off families or who were also foreigners like them. Lea was attended to by an adult at nearly all hours of the day, whether it be their family, a maid, a private tutor, or a close friend of the family who traveled the world for leisure more than for learning. Lea took the time to try and learn as much about their family history as possible, though accounts always varied and seemed wildly exaggerated or wholly understated.
After a few years in boarding school, Lea's interest in the past turned to an appreciation for the arts; particularly photography and literature. Their studies were fine-tuned in an attempt to cultivate this phase into marketable talent. Tutors became older and stricter. Friends were harder to visit with, much less relate to. Though scoffed at by their tutors for "hawking" their amateur works off before fully earning the right to create and present, Lea first earned money in their teen years selling photographic prints to neighbors and tourists visiting the local parks and cafes. On suggestion of a friend, Lea also posted many photos to stock photography websites and entered contests, with some meager success to show for it.
Eventually, Lea attended university and subsequently took up the opportunity to study in America via an exchange student program. With no friends or family to rely on, Lea worked tirelessly both to achieve academic success but also to earn a living with their skills as a means to prove their pursuits as worthwhile to others. Soon the hobbies that were once simple ways of generating some extra spending money became a means by which to offset the cost of living abroad. Lea generated content for students in other programs; most notably those wishing to enter fields of software and game development. Help with homework turned to commissioned pieces to be put into fan projects, which turned to requests for references to be used as background materials, and that blossomed into a penchant for digital painting and compositing. This course led to Lea tweaking their college course load to better enrich knowledge in the field, and subsequently set them on their current career path.
From the start, Lea was set to return home with their degree in hand, to prove to their aunt and uncle that they were now ready and deserving of the attention their works garnered them. But those works never truly appealed to their family, and as more and more projects had piled up toward the end, Lea's physical distance soon became less of the issue. Without a clear call to come home, or even the impression of being welcome, Lea turned to freelance work just as a means to bide their time and survive until the day came to return home. "Soon", they thought. It was always "soon".
Soon, that notion was all but forgotten. Lea moved a few times in pursuit of more work, finding it was never like uprooting their entire life because they never truly settled down anywhere for too long. They were never the only name or even the main lead on any project, always coming in for a few weeks or months at a time here and there to offer their services where needed, take their pay, and leave to find something new. They have traveled all over the country and only in recent times have they spent more than a couple of years in one single place.
Lea has been living in Recollé the past two years as a full-time artist under the employ of ÉcarlateSoft, working primarily on concept art, backgrounds, and environment textures. Lately, with the release of the main project Lea was attached to, work had slowed down substantially. Lea once more fell back into supplementing their income by means of commissioned work, and also working part time at Expressive.
